Meet the big dreamers! Our team is made up of the parents, teachers, businessmen and women, volunteer base, and so many more who choose to invest in the leaders of the next generation. Here are the members of the Loveworks Governing Board, members of which serve to strategically support and work towards the sustainability of the organization.

Kris Boyd

Chief Operations Officer of Southwind Hills
Kris Boyd has resided in Norman since 1999 with my wife Kelly.  They have three kids, Kaden (16), Britton (12), and Abigail (11). They are active in keeping up with all of their activities.
Kris's work experience was previously at a community bank in Norman and has now worked for Southwind Hills over the past 3 years where he manages multiple businesses mainly focused within the construction and real estate industry.
He's passionate to see Loveworks continue its work of building up young leaders and entrepreneurs.  Together, he believes the board and the Loveworks staff will be committed to seeing Loveworks extend its reach within our communities.

Rusty Loeffler

Co-Founder and owner of Interurban Restaurants, Packards New American Kitchen, HunnyBunny Biscuit Co.

Rusty co-opened Interurban Restaurants in 1976 in Norman and has been long involved in the community. He is dedicated to positively impacting our city and those around him. Rusty loves spending his free time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, and fishing.

Rusty has been volunteering with Loveworks since 2011. Once a tutor, he helped bring the culinary program alive at Loveworks and continues to cook a homestyle meal every Thursday evening for our students while also training up the next great group of cooks and servers. 

Michelle Linneman

Michelle Linnemann

Owner/Operator of Diamond Payroll Services

Michelle is a 1974 graduate of Norman High School and  has a degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. She has over 30 years experience in the accounting and payroll industry and has owned or co-owned businesses that range from an antique store to a veterinary hospital.

Michelle is the mother of a son, Rhett, a daughter, Mikayla and has a teenage grandson, Seth. She is a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Business Networking International, and other professional organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys studying history, genealogy, reading and antiquing.

Evan Fay

Economic Development Project Manager of Greater OKC Chamber


Evan is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Economics. He is passionate about the community and is involved in NormanNEXT, The Salvation Army, Kennedy Elementary Mentor program, Leadership Norman.

Evan loves the outdoors, discovering new places to eat, golf, reading or trying to keep up with his wife, Katie, on a training run.


Melany Dickens-Ray

Associate Vice President for Research,
Director of Planning & Research Facilities


Melany earned her Master’s Degree in Geography from the University of Oklahoma and has worked at the University since 1987. She began with the Office of the Vice President for Research in 2003 as Building Manager of Stephenson Research and Technology Center on the University Research Campus, and is now the Associate Vice President for Research and Director of Planning & Research Facilities

Melany enjoys all outdoor activities, yoga, reading and spending time with family.

Charles Nicholson

Managing Director of Domain Commercial, L.L.C,  Norman, Oklahoma

Charles is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and specializes in investment properties, site procurement, in-fill redevelopment, real estate partnerships, sales, leasing and management.  Charles is currently involved in projects in OK, and completed assignments in AZ, KY, TN,TX, CA and AR.

Charles and his wife Linda reside in the campus area near the University of Oklahoma, where they are involved as volunteers in local nonprofits and in Saint John’s Episcopal Church.

Charles enjoys any day that he can spend on the Loveworks Campus helping in any area that the organization needs help, especially on Thursday afternoons when he is part of a team that cooks up some wonderful dinner for students who are eager to be on Campus and always ready to eat a good meal. He looks forward to serving the board to help the program as they continue to serve the students today and in the future.

Chris Graves

Vice President and Real Estate Counsel, Sonic


Chris and his wife Susie, Director of Women's and Children's Services at Norman Regional Hospital, have resided in Norman since 1980, and have three sons (Mark, Charlie and Max).  Chris is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (BBA, 1978; Juris Doctor, with highest honors, 1992), and is actively involved in volunteer work in the Norman community through service on the boards of several non-profit organizations.  Chris and Susie are members of Timber Creek Fellowship Church in Norman. Chris serves as real estate counsel for Sonic in connection with all company-owned and leased properties. 

For relaxation, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake, running, snow skiing, hunting, fishing, and spoiling his grandchildren.  Chris is honored to serve on the Loveworks board and looks forward to sharing his experiences to further the Loveworks vision and mission.
