When it comes to discovering passion and fulfilling potential, we believe experiential, hands-on learning is the way to go! Loveworks has created a wide-range of unique opportunities crafted to equip students with life skills and introduce them to future career paths that align with their unique interests. We think these opportunities are pretty awesome…
Concept groups are ways students can develop their passions by participating in hands-on learning projects in areas of future career interest. Our groups have included: Culinary, Robotics, Cosmetology, Fashion, Triathlon, Music Production, Coding, Environmental Advocacy, Toastmasters, Starbucks Entrepreneurship, Architecture, and so many more!
Loveworks puts dreams into action! Students participate in teams with business professionals and architects to design their ideas for developing spaces within the Loveworks Center. At the end of this 6-week experience, students will “pitch” their business plan and blueprints to a panel of judges for a chance to see their design come to life through renovation.
REAL Enterprises is the entrepreneurism and small business arm of Loveworks Leadership. With the help of community partners and professionals, we teach students the basics of business and provide them with opportunities to hone their skills. Check out the weekly outline here.
It’s time to get cooking! REAL Kitchen combines the culinary arts with entrepreneurship as this student-led business is making waves in the salsa industry. Expect the freshest ingredients, newest business methods, and student ingenuity. Check out www.real.kitchen to find out more!
